Sony netbook VAIO W Series for $500? Hmm… A good price to offer in the middle of “netbook war” in the worldwide netbook market. This netbook has a clear view XBRITE-ECO^™ LCD Technology 10.1″ LED-backlit display, with 1366 x 768 resolution, while others still use 1024 x 600.

It also has a Atheros 802.11 b/g/n wireless,  integrated Stereo A2DP Bluetooth^® technology, 160GB hard disk drive, 1GB DDR2, Motion Eye webcam, and the best part that I like is the keyboard which looks very similar to macbook’s. The shape and distance between the buttons will make typing comfortable. Especially for people with big fingers like me.

One thing that worry me is the battery life, which estimated only up to 2 hours. I think Sony should provide longer battery life.

Sony VAIO W Series will be available in three colors, Pink, Brown, and White.

Currently not yet available in the official Sony Indonesia website. Hope it will hit the Indonesia market soon… Of course I’m still hoping it will be available with better battery life (6 cells or even 9 cells battery maybe?)
