Playing Mafia Wars in Facebook is very addictive for a lot of people, including me. A few days ago me and my friends played together. We exchanged loots, collections, etc. And then we compare our earned achievements. There is one achievement called “Spreading it around” which can be earned by gifting loots, weapons, armors, vehicles, or even collections to your mafia friends. It must be done 501 times where every item counts as 1. So when I give 5 Grenades to my friend, it counts as 5.

In other word, I must give 501 of any items to my mafia friends. That day my friend told me he had more than 100 Concealable Camera. I traded 5 of his Concealable Camera for 5 Illegal Transaction Records. And then we had an idea. What if we try to get the “Spreading it around” achievement by “mass gift and return”? So what is this “mass gift and return” means? Instead answering that question, I’ll show you how to do it.

Requirements

• At least 2 Mafia Wars accounts. You and your friend’s. A trustworthy friend is no doubt very important.
• One of these account must have at least 1 giftable item with a lot quantity. (eg. 100 Chain Guns, 200 Untraceable Cell Phones, etc.)
• Go to Spockholm’s site and install “Switch” and “MafiaGift” or “MafiaGift-NW” bookmarklet to your favourite browser (Firefox or Chrome I hope)

How to do it

• Assume you are the one with a lot qty of inventory item. Let’s say 100 Chain Guns. And you never give anything to any of your mafia friend.
• Go to your friend’s profile in Facebook’s friend list.
• Click on “Switch” bookmarklet to show your friend’s profile in Mafia Wars.
• After you see his / her Mafia Wars profile, click on “MafiaGift” of “MafiaGift-NW” bookmarklet (any will do)
• Find the Chain Guns picture, and click on 100 below it.
• This will send your 100 Chain Guns to your friend at once.
• Now tell your friend to do the same as you did just now.
• After you receive your item back, repeat these steps again until you reach 501 number which eventually will entitled you the “Spreading it around” achievement, in 5 minutes or so!
